Intra School Competition

Our children in school are grouped by houses. Each house is made up of children from Years 1-6. A group of children from the four houses (Angles, Saxons, Danes and Vikings) represent their house each term in an intra- school competition.

The competition relates to a sport that has been taught during the term and the children battle it out for the all important house trophy. This term our inter-house competition will be in Autumn 2. A selection of our year 5/6 children will be competing against each other in a cross country style event. Watch this space for the results.

On Thursday 8th December 2016 Adam Palmer from Premier Sport, along with Ms Burroughs and Mr Cunningham will be running our intra School Competiton. The focus will be invasion games where the children will have the opportuity to put the skills they have learnt this term in action. We will be running an A and a B team Round Robin to enable more children to participate. We can't wait!

Adam ran the competition successfully with the children and they had a great time competing in the end zone game activities. The overall winnning house was the Blue Team. A big well done to all of the children involved in the event! We had maximum participation from all of the children in Ms Burrough's and Mr Cunningham's class. We will run a KS1 event at the beginning of the summer term and an upper KS2 event at the end of Summer term.
