Intra School Competition

Our children in school are grouped by houses. Each house is made up of children from Years 1-6. A group of children from the four houses (Angles, Saxons, Danes and Vikings) represent their house each term in an intra- school competition.

The competition relates to a sport that has been taught during the term and the children battle it out for the all important house trophy.

On Thursday 8th December 2016 Adam Palmer from Premier Sport, along with Ms Burroughs and Mr Cunningham ran our intra School Competiton. The focus was on invasion games skills that the children had been taught. We ran an A and a B team Round Robin to enable more children to participate. The children had a great time competing in the end zone game activities. The overall winnning house was the Blue Team. A big well done to all of the children involved in the event! We had maximum participation from all of the children in Ms Burrough's and Mr Cunningham's class.

Adam went on to run a multi skills event with the children in Year one. At the end of their 6 weeks of Multi Skills sessions Adam led a series of fun challenges in which all of the children in Miss McCrea and Mrs Whitehead's class joined in with. The children had a great time and managed to score points for their houses. The overall winner was Blue Team.

After our initial Potted Sports morning was cancelled due to the great british weather we finally manged to complete the event on Wednesday 12th July 2017. The children worked in their teams made up of children in Years 1-6.The team captains led their team well around all 24 events. The children had a great time earning points for their houses as they completed each station. Our overall winning House was the Red Team. Well done!
