This year, 49 children from Year 5 and Year 6 took part in the September residential to Kingswood at Colomendy in Wales. The children had a fantastic time taking part in over 25 exciting and adventurous activities, all aimed at encouraging them to take risks, challenge themselves and to 'be the best that they can  be'.

The children spent a total of 5 days and 4 nights at Kingswood, sleeping, eating and completing activities alongside their peers. For many, this is the first occasion they have spent time away from home! Residentials provide children with an invaluable opportunity to experience activities that they would not normally be able to access. It is also good for their personal development as it encourages team building, reslience and relationships with others.

The higlights for this year's students include:

- 3G Swing

- Aerial Walkway

- Aeroball

- Evening Camp Fire

- Caving

and many, many more!

All of the children thoroughly enjoyed thier week at Kingswood and returned home extremely tired, well fed and excited for the academic year ahead.
