We have been learning all about the importance of walking to school this week. We shared stories about a boy called Ben who visited the park, friends and Nursery. We looked at different ways we can cross roads safely and things to do when we are out and about near roads. We talked about how walking to school can help to keep us healthy and how it can help our planet. We played with the road signs and traffic lights outside, taking on the role of a school crossing patrol. We used vehicles to mark make. We played with the happy land small world people, vehicles and small village toys and we made vehicles at the modelling table. We have had a busy week but we have had lots of fun. We all completed a listening walk with our parents whilst walking to school. We had to listen very carefully to see what we could hear.
