Midday Supervisor Band 3 SCP 7-9S

Term Time Only

6 hours per week.

Required September 2017

 

Would you enjoy working with fun interesting children, joining in with their games and helping the children with their lunch? If so we might have just the job for you!

Duties will include supporting children during lunchtime, and supporting outdoor play. Helping with meals assisting with the serving of food and clearing tables and equipment once pupils have eaten their lunch. Deal with minor first aid incidents and follow appropriate procedures for recording and reporting.

The 2 posts are combined and are fixed term only until August 2018.

Total hours: 21 hours to be worked from 7.40am to 12.40pm

We are looking to appoint a hardworking, passionate and creative practioner, to work within the early Years team. You must be committed to following a creative, child centred approach to teaching and learning and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You would work alongside an established motivated and supportive Early Years Team, led by our Deputy Head teacher

You must:

  • Be an outstanding practioner
  • Be fully up to date with current EYFS best practice in teaching and assessment.
  • Be an excellent team player contributing to the foundation stage as a whole
  • Be confident in communicating positively with parents, and all other stakeholders on a daily basis.
  • Be hardworking and willing to contribute to the whole school ethos
  • Ensure that all children attending the setting receive a creative, inspiring and stimulating learning environment with high quality care, are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences both indoors and outdoors.
  • Have a sense of fun!

The successful applicant will have Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification and have experience of working within Early Years.
