School days vary slightly depending on whether your child is in Early Years (Puddles and Sunshines), Key Stage One or Key Stage Two. Below you will find a timetable for each of them.
As a school we operate an open door policy, which means that parents and carers are welcome to bring their children into school on a morning, although in KS2 parents and carers may feel that their children should start to develop a little more independence in preparation for secondary education.
The start to our school day is organised so parents and carers can see all their children into class. Although we recommend that if you have children in different key stages, then the older children are taken to class first. In this way we hope we are working with parents to be able to ensure all their children arrive promptly and safely in class. As well as giving parents that valuable ‘quick word’ time with teaching staff at the beginning of the day.
Again at the end of the day the times are slightly staggered, to both avoid congestion at the exits in school and to enable parents to pick up children in different Key Stages.
A wide variety of after school clubs catering for children of all ages are available throughout the year. These usually finish at 4:00pm.
